2022/23 GPL Wk 11: Karela United and Real Tamale United (RTU) drew 0-0.

In their matchup from week 11 that took place on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, Karela United and Real Tamale United (RTU) drew 0-0.

As both teams fought to score, the first few minutes of the game were evenly matched.

Kuka attempted to connect with Manaf’s cross with his head in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper stopped him.

Real Tamale United made three substitutions after the break in an effort to take the lead and win all three games.

Karela United also made adjustments and controlled the midfield battle for a while, but they were unable to score.

During extra time, Karela was awarded a free kick in front of the RTU goal area, but goalie Sheriff was quick and deflected the ball to the corner.

Real Tamale United is in the first spot with 15 points, while Karela United is in the fifteenth position with 13 points in the Ghana Premier League. In their upcoming match, Real Tamale United will host Accra Lions while Karela United will take on Berekum Chelsea.
