The Ghana Football Association (GFA), speaking on behalf of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, has stated that the coach does not have a Facebook account and that any account with his name on it is fraudulent.
According to the GFA, the person(s) in charge of this fictitious page are either dishonest or malicious, lack any connection to the coach, and have no power to speak for him or take action on his behalf.
“The Facebook community and media are hereby informed that all posts emanating from this page or any other account are not from coach Addo,” the GFA said in a statement.
The statement claims that the impostor is using the coach’s fake phone number +49231900200, fake WhatsApp number +1(213)2553324, and fake email address hiotoaddo@gmail.com.
There was a statement that actions had been taken to alert the security agencies to this development.
