MTN FA CUP: Berekum Chelsea kick out Kotoko in quarter finals

Date:

Berekum Chelsea have eliminated Kumasi Asante Kotoko from the MTN FA Cup.

Both sides clashed at Obuasi in a quarter final game and the game had to be decided by penalties.

Kotoko started the game the better of the two sides but missed several chances.

They were then awarded a penalty but Fabio Gama stepped up and missed.

Berekum Chelsea soaked the pressure to see the game enter into penalty shoot out.

Kotoko defender Wahab Adams missed his spot kick which allowed Berekum Chelsea who scored all five kicks progress to the semi final at the expense of the defending champions.
