2025 AFCON QUALIFIERS: Sudan Tops Ghana’s Group F with Win Over Niger

Sudan, one of Ghana’s Group F opponents, began their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a strong performance on Wednesday, September 4.

They secured a 1-0 home victory over Niger, earning three crucial points and climbing to the top of Group F.

Abo Eisa scored the decisive goal in the second half, providing a pivotal moment that set the tone for Sudan’s campaign.

Sudan, along with Ghana and Angola, is competing in Group F and will next face Angola in their second group match. Meanwhile, Ghana is set to play against Angola on Thursday, September 5, at the Baba Yara Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
