2025 AFCON Q: Black Stars to depart for Kumasi on Tuesday

The Black Stars of Ghana will continue preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger in Kumasi after completing Monday’s training at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Henry Asante, the Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association, confirmed this report during an interview on Max FM.

“Thomas Partey and Fatawu Issahaku have joined the squad, as we expect the rest to follow later on in the day, and hopefully by Tuesday morning, Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Salisu will join before we depart for Kumasi to begin proper training for the games.”

The training at Accra Sports Stadium will be opened to the public on Monday at 5 p.m. with the available players in camp.
