The top European teams will learn their opponents today in the new format of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.
The new format will be in one 36-team league phase, as teams will discover which clubs they will meet in four home and four away matches.
Teams will be placed in their seeded four pots, where each team faces off two teams from each pot in the home and away format, and then UEFA’s software decides all eight opponents.
The software prevents rivals from the same country from meeting against each other, meaning each team can play two clubs from any one country.
