We Gifted Draw to Hearts of Oak— Kassim Mingle

Date:

Swedru All Blacks head coach Kassim Mingle has described his side’s 2-2 draw with Hearts of Oak as a gift.

Battling to stay up in the league, All Blacks were looking to build on their previous win against fellow strugglers Hohoe United when they squared up with the Phobians on Sunday.

Coach Mingle, disappointedly, believes his charges allowed Hearts back into the game after taking a crucial and commanding two-nil lead in the first half in the backyard of their opponents.

Rudolph Nana Mensah broke the deadlock after 22 minutes, beating a lazy-looking Hearts offside trap before goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi literally handed the All Blacks their second goal on a silver platter 16 minutes later.

“It was a good game, but I’m disappointed in my boys. We took a two-goal commanding lead and then gifted them two goals,” Coach Mingle lamented after the game.

All Blacks are now 15th with 32 points at the end of matchweek 27.
