VEEP begins three-week medical break

Date:

Vice President of Ghana, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has started a three-week medical break, effective Monday, April 7, 2025, according to sources at the Jubilee House.

Sources indicate that the break follows medical advice after she reportedly experienced health issues in recent weeks. The Vice President initially sought treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) before travelling abroad for further care.

Her temporary absence from official duties has sparked public concern, with many wishing her a speedy recovery.
