Black Stars of Ghana midfielder Elisha Owusu is expected to join Turkish side Erzurumspor on a permanent transfer.

Owusu captained French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre, helping them escape relegation in the 2025/26 season.

The 28-year-old midfielder’s move to the newly promoted Turkish side is worth 1 million euros.

Owusu featured for Ghana at this year’s FIFA World Cup in the United States of America.

The Ghanaian international moved to the French side three and a half years ago from the Belgian side Gent.
