Former under-17 World Cup winner Nii Odartey Lamptey has questioned the kind of people surrounding the Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku.
Kurt Okraku, who also doubles as the 2nd Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has come under intense scrutiny lately.
The failings of the Black Stars, the national youth teams, and the poor state of the Ghana Premier League have contributed to heated discussion of forcing out the GFA President.
Speaking to 3sports, he said, “I love Kurt Okraku, but he has created enemies for himself, and the enemies want his downfall.
Those around him are not helping him. Until Kurt realises that he has to change so many things, so many things will go against him. Everyone is complaining.
When you create enemies for yourself, it affects the work that you are doing. That is what is happening to Ghana football now.”
