Semenyo to City Almost a Done Deal

Date:

Former Premier League winners Manchester City are close to securing the signature of Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo after making progress in talks with Bournemouth.

The deal for a transfer has been estimated to be at £65 million during the January transfer window.

Negotiations have intensified over the past 48 hours, with City ready to activate the release clause in Semenyo’s contract.

Several sources have indicated that personal terms are almost finalised following meetings held earlier this week in Manchester between the player’s representatives and the Citizens’ management.

With the winter transfer window opening this Thursday, all parties are now working to finalise the details of an agreement that would see the 25-year-old player make a high-profile transfer to the Etihad Stadium.
