Ghana’s road to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations has been decided at the Egyptian Football Association in Cairo on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
The AFCON is set to be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from 19 June to 17 July 2027.
The Black Stars are pitted against the Ivory Coast, the Gambia, and Somalia.
Ghana is expected to face stiff competition from their neighboring country to the west, the Ivory Coast.
Fans would be hoping the Black Stars book qualification this time around after failing to do so for the first time since 2004 in 2025.
The qualification rounds would be played between September 21, 2026, and March 30, 2027.
