Police Begin Probe Into KNUST Student Death

The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has confirmed the death of one of its students.

Ransford Amankwah Asomani, a level 200 student, fell off the second floor of an off-campus hostel at Ayeduase in the early hours of Sunday, February 8.

According to the management, Mr Asomani was pronounced dead upon arrival at the KNUST Hospital.

The university has extended counselling services to the family and friends of the agribusiness management student.

The university further confirmed the police are conducting an investigation to ascertain what led to the demise of Mr Asomani, who was in the company of a friend when he fell.
