Sensational gospel singer Mavis Asante unveiled a new track dubbed “Victory” on Friday in Accra at Max TV, a renowned television station in Ghana.
The unveiling was done at the station due to the number of viewers it has garnered and its highly earned reputation in the broadcasting space.
As part of the unveiling function during the Max TV Morning Show, the beautiful songstress endorsed the much-acclaimed telenovela Brothers and praised the management of Imax Media for bringing such a teleseries.
Speaking at the Morning Show, Mavis stated that Brothers was a morally driven teleseries that her children always watched.
“Even with stiff instructions for them not to watch TV, we will come home to find out that they are watching Brothers. So this is the reason I chose to unveil my ‘Victory’ song here. Max TV is doing an incredible job and deserves to be praised for that,” she said.
Mavis indicated that her new single was to cement her return after more than six years she went on a break from the industry to build her family.
She expressed joy for her return and urged Ghanaians to stream her new single, which was released alongside its video, on all digital platforms.
Mavis Asante is married to a pastor, and she is also a reverend who started her musical journey after participating in Season 4 of Mentor, a talent hunt.
She has released hit tracks including Obaatan, Aseda Nwom, and Awurade, among many others.
