FC Barcelona have confirmed that manager Xavi will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 44-year-old had extended his contract until June 2025 in April after he announced in January he would step down as boss this summer.
However, President Joan Laporta was keen for him to remain; the former Barcelona and Spain midfielder performed a U-turn last month.
The Blaugrana club has now U-turned Xavi’s U-turn.
Xavi led the club to league success in the 2022-23 season.
German gaffer, Hansi Flick is favorite to replace the Catalan.
