Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has officially joined German-based football agency ROOF, fueling speculation over a potential move in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The West Ham United star, who joined the Hammers in the 2023/24 season, has been on the radar of several top European clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool. His switch to ROOF comes at a time when his future at the London Stadium remains uncertain.
Kudus’ transfer prospects were previously delayed due to unresolved issues around his representation. He was initially managed by Jennifer Mendelewitsch—who facilitated his moves to Ajax and later West Ham—before parting ways with her at the start of the 2024/25 campaign. His family temporarily oversaw his affairs until this latest development.
With ROOF now handling his interests, talks are expected to intensify with interested clubs. The agency boasts a roster that includes top-tier talents like Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, and also represents Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah.
Kudus made an instant impact in his debut Premier League season, contributing an impressive 20 goals across all competitions. However, the just-ended campaign proved more challenging, with the 24-year-old managing five Premier League goals.
Despite the dip in form, Kudus remains a highly rated talent, and his new representation suggests a major move could be on the horizon.
