The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has introduced the Happy Hour Project in four selected cities as part of efforts to make the Ghana Premier League (GPL) more engaging and bring fans closer to the action.
This initiative will be piloted in Tarkwa, Kumasi, Accra, and Dormaa to create a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere at match venues. Under the project, fans at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Tarkwa T&A Stadium, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, and University of Ghana Sports Stadium will enjoy free entry to a designated section of the stadium from the time gates open until 90 minutes before kickoff.
During this period, attendees can experience live music, pre-match football activities, and curtain-raiser matches, all designed to enhance the match-day excitement and boost fan engagement.
The Happy Hour Project aims to revamp the GPL match-day experience, attract more supporters, and create an electrifying atmosphere at stadiums.
