Mr. Fuseini’s appointment marks him as the 12th Director since the College was established in 1984. During a meeting with the College’s management on Tuesday, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the institution, emphasizing that “this duty comes with a responsibility.”
He outlined his commitment to collaborating with staff to enhance sports education and development in Ghana, aligning with the College’s mission. The National Sports College was founded to strengthen the technical capacity of human resources through training and retraining, conduct sports-related research, organize workshops, provide facilities for local and national team camps, and identify emerging talents in sports.
In his new role, Mr. Fuseini aims to revitalize the College’s reputation as a breeding ground for Ghanaian sports talent, implementing measures to elevate its standing and impact in the sports community.
