Having once been labelled as one of the best players in the world, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, now retired, has identified the world’s top five players.
Three of the top five players, according to Ibrahimovic, are currently part of the France national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembele, and Kylian Mbappe are the stars the former Sweden captain mentioned on Fox Sports.
This was after France, led by Kylian Mbappe, had dominated Sweden for a smooth passage to the round of 16 of the biggest footballing event in the world.
The other players that make up the top five are Spain’s Lamine Yamal and Norway’s Erling Haaland.

Lionel Messi, Ibrahimović believes, is in a class of his own – apparently incomparable. As usual, he ignored the G.O.A.T. of others, Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
