I only date married men — Mzbel

Date:

Veteran singer Mzbel has confessed to only having interest in married men since they are not much of a burden.

According to her, she has never dated a single man before and will never in her life go for a man who is absolutely free.

In a recent media interview, the “16 Years” hitmaker noted that married men come with fewer responsibilities.

“Since I started dating, all the men in my life have been married because they are accompanied with fewer responsibilities. When they come to you, they won’t bother you with house chores because they have to return to their wives. I like it that way because that’s how I started,” she said.

Mzbel said the current man she was engaged to and had a child with was not exerting much stress on her and did not care to know whether he had a wife or not.

“I haven’t asked him if he’s married because I don’t want to know. I’m not married, but I am engaged. He hasn’t met my family yet… We’re both interested in each other, and that’s what matters. I asked for a ring, and he gave it to me,” she explained.

“We have a child together. I don’t believe in the idea that he needs to meet my family for an official introduction; it’s between the two of us. He is much older than me,” she added.

Mzbel’s statement has sparked controversy on social media, as many believed the man she was engaged to was married because she had earlier stated she had never been in a relationship with a single man.

They insisted that Mzbel was swerving the question to openly declare that her baby’s father is another woman’s husband.
