GPL W4: Hearts go four games without a win after Ashgold defeat

Date:

Accra Hearts of Oak are yet to win a game in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) after they were beaten by Ashantigold in a week four clash.

Hearts had drawn their first three games and were hoping to get a favorable results against the miners.

Hearts started the game very well but were unable to break the deadlock.

The second half started with Hearts on top but Ashgold broke the deadlock after Yaw Annor did some excellent work.

That looked to be a done deal but Ashgold added a second through Abdul Salam to make it 2-0.

The Miners held on to the lead and that saw Hearts lose the game.
