Abdulai Gazale is expected to be named assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, according to multiple reports.
This follows his departure from Ghana Premier League side Basake Holy Stars after just one season at the helm. Gazale had signed a three-year deal with the club in August 2024 but has opted for a new challenge.
The former Asante Kotoko youth and interim head coach is believed to favour a reunion with his mentor, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who was recently appointed head coach of Hearts of Oak.
Gazale brings a wealth of experience from his time with Kotoko, where he temporarily led the senior team during the 2020/21 season. Beyond coaching, he also serves as a Physical Education tutor at T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Kumasi.
