The Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria will rekindle rivalry on Friday when both sides meet in an international friendly in Morocco.
It is the first time either country will be involved in a match since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)
The Black Stars were eliminated in the group stage, while the Super Eagles fell to hosts Ivory Coast in the final, prompting the dismissal of manager Chris Hughton, who has been replaced on an interim basis by Otto Addo.
In Nigeria’s case, following Jose Peseiro’s resignation, ex-international Finidi George takes over reigns of the managerial role of the Super Eagles in the interim.

Nigeria have been dealt a blow with Victor Osimhen ruled out with an inflammation of an old injury.
Also ruled out for the Super Eagles are Taiwo Awoniyi, Tyronne Ebuehi and Gabriel Osho
Ghana are also without key midfielder Thomas Partey as he looks to build up his fitness with the Gunners.
