Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu believes the Black Stars have a very high chance of overcoming Croatia.
The Black Stars of Ghana are on the verge of booking a place for the round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
An opening win over Panama and a goalless draw with England on Tuesday night put Ghana in a good place for advancing from the group stage since 2010.
Agyeman Badu, a member of the 2010 squad that reached the quarter-finals, stated why the Black Stars stand a massive chance of beating Croatia in the final group match.
“From what I saw of the Croatians against Panama, we have an 85% chance of beating them. They have the quality and are well-experienced, but they are lacking a lot.”
Croatia struggled to a 1-0 victory over the Panamanians after Ghana held England at bay.
The final round of group matches would prove decisive for qualification to the next stage and the potential opponents.
