In the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, Dreams FC lost 2-0 to Club Africain at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Radès.
Algerian forward Tayeb Meziani gave Club Africain the lead in the fifth minute after a fantastic team move. Meziani easily slotted the ball into the net after receiving a pass from Bassem Srarfi with ease.
The 19th minute saw Dreams’ goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi falter to deny a long-range strike from Srarfi, which gave the Tunisian giants a 2-0 lead.
Abdul Jalilu, Dreams FC’s captain, was sent off just after the break, adding to the team’s difficulties.
Dreams FC hopes to bounce back from a difficult start in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage by attempting a turnaround at home.
