There will be all-night parties in the beautiful African island of Cabo Verde when they make history tonight.
Cabo Verde are on the verge of qualifying from the group stages to the next round at their debut FIFA World Cup competition.
The Blue Sharks have nibbled their way through mighty nations such as Spain and Uruguay to stand a chance of achieving greatness.
As if holding the defending European champions to a goalless draw was not enough, Cabo Verde refused to give up against Uruguay in a 2-2 draw.
The Sharks are third in Group H and level on point with Uruguay, who would face Spain later in the day.
Tonight, a win over Saudi Arabia will ensure Cabo Verde emulate Ghana’s 2006 FIFA World Cup success.
