The draw for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 Qualifiers has been scheduled for Thursday, 13 June 2024 at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The draw will be conducted at 14h00 local time (11h00 GMT) and will be live-streamed on CAF TV.
The qualifiers will determine the seven (7) teams that will join hosts Egypt at the finals.
Egypt 2024 will mark the sixth edition of the sand football tournament and the second time the CAF Beach Soccer AFCON is held in Egypt. In 2018, the third edition of the tournament was hosted in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
In the previous edition of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations held in Mozambique in 2022, Senegal emerged as champions, securing their fourth consecutive title. They clinched the trophy by defeating Egypt’s Pharaohs 2-2 (6-5 after penalties) at the Vilankulo Arena.
The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 qualifiers will be held in June and July, with the final tournament set to take place in Egypt later this summer.
