Ghana’s minister for sports and recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, has admitted to one honest truth about the nation’s sporting infrastructure.

The seasoned statesman, in an exclusive sit-down with Max TV, confessed that Ghana’s sporting facilities have been poorly maintained.

The National Sports Authority (NSA), an outfit charged with overseeing the maintenance of the infrastructure, has recently come under heavy criticism regarding the country’s stadia.

He reckons that the current state of facilities meant for sports are not satisfactory, hence scoring low on maintenance.

“We have scored poorly on maintenance and appropriate sporting infrastructure,” he honestly opined.
