Real Madrid is closely tracking Caleb Yirenkyi, one of FC Nordsjælland’s most promising prospects.
At just 20 years old, the Ghanaian defensive midfielder has established himself as a key figure for his club thanks to his distribution, physical presence, and maturity on the pitch.
His performances have already caught the eyes of several European clubs. To let their player leave, Nordsjælland is reportedly demanding around €30 million—a fee that would make Yirenkyi the most expensive transfer in Danish football history.
According to journalist Farzam Abolhosseini, Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with former Ghana international Michael Essien to check on Yirenkyi.
Yirenkyi is expected to star for the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he would be monitored by a host of European clubs.
