2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Dates Confirmed

Date:

FIFA has officially confirmed the dates for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Morocco from October 17 to November 7.

The announcement made yesterday confirms the expansion and structuring of the global women’s football calendar.

The competition will feature 24 teams from across six confederations in an expanded format aimed at increasing competitiveness and global representation.

The confirmation of the tournament dates comes as part of FIFA’s broader push to strengthen women’s football at all levels, particularly through youth competitions.

Morocco was awarded hosting rights for five consecutive editions (2025–2029), making it the first African nation to host the tournament on a recurring basis.
