JUST IN: Mohammed Kudus Apologizes to Ghanaians

Date:

Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has issued an apology to Ghanaians following the team’s disappointing performances during the October international break in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Kudus, who captained the side in the absence of Thomas Partey, led the team in two challenging matches against Sudan.

In their first encounter, the Black Stars managed a lackluster 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium. This was followed by a 2-0 defeat in Libya, further compounding the team’s struggles. These results have added to an ongoing streak of poor performances since June, leaving fans disheartened and frustrated.

In his statement, Kudus acknowledged the disappointment felt by supporters and expressed his commitment to improving the team’s performance. “I sincerely apologize for our recent outings,” he said. “We understand the passion and expectations of our fans, and we are determined to turn things around.”

Kudus’s leadership as captain comes at a crucial time for the Black Stars, and he is hopeful that with hard work and dedication, the team can regain the trust and support of Ghanaians moving forward.
