Joseph Paintsil and Inaki Williams are set to be recalled to the Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Palancas Negras of Angola.
Both players were absent from the head coach, Otto Addo’s list for their last two matches against Mali and Chad in the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup qualifiers due to injuries.
With Paintsil and Williams back to full fitness and in action for their club sides, Max Sports have it in confidence that they’ll be returning to help Ghana fight for a place in Morocco 2025.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to formally announce the selected players by Otto Addo ahead of the first matchday of the AFCON qualifiers on September 5, at the Baba Yara Sports.
