At Benyadze, near Elmina in the Central Region, on a sugarcane farm, 14-year-old Kwame Junior killed a 14-foot python.
While going to get feed for his pigs, Junior came across the enormous reptile that was imprisoned in his brother’s trap.
He quickly cut off the python’s tail after spotting it and then ended its fight for survival.
The teenager’s victory over the snake that had scared the farmers delighted the inhabitants of Benyadze. He told them to use caution when tending to their farms.
John Tego, a resident of the area, related how the snake wrapped itself around after he yanked it off a dog.
