Ghana Premier League: Great Olympics stun Kotoko

Accra Great Olympics stunned Kumasi Asante Kotoko in an outstanding Ghana Premier League (GPL) game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Great Olympics inflicted a 1-0 painful home defeat on the Porcupine Warriors.

Olympics showed great determination in the early minutes of the game as they dominated possession.

Midfield gem Gladson Awako was the architect as he spread passes beautifully to his team mates.

Kotoko looked shaky but managed to hold their fort till half time.

After the recess, Olympics continued with their high pressing and some neat work from Awako made sure Michael Yeboah slot home the all important goal in the 53rd minute.

Kotoko coach Konadu introduced Muniru Sulley and Evans Adomako as replacement for Godfred Asiamah and Emmanuel Gyamfi respectively.

Asante Kotoko gained possession in the last twenty minutes of the game but their efforts went furtile as Olympics won 1-0.
