MAX ENTERTAINMENT: Ghanaians Do Not Want to invest in their craft – Min. Samuel Sey

Date:

Ghanaian gospel sensation Samuel Sey has said that Ghanaians don’t want to invest in their craft as Nigerians do, and that is what saddens him the most.

He was speaking to max.com.gh during a one-on-one interview with Belinda Quansah after he swept two awards at the Praise Achievement Awards, hosted at the Royal House Chapel, Oil Dome.

“Out of 10, I will rate Ghana gospel music a 9,” he said.

“The only thing I am just sad with is that Ghanaians don’t want to invest in their craft as the Nigerians do.”

He asserted that Ghanaians need to be united and love one another in comparison to Nigerians because they support their own craft.

“You don’t need to know him to promote his song. But in Ghana, I know so many people that they wouldn’t even want to put your flyer out there.”

“Knowing the songs, I have done with other people, but they don’t even promote it.”

Samuel Séy is a Ghanaian gospel sensation raising the flag of Ghana high in the United Kingdom.

The artist has been praised for his exceptional ministration at events and churches in the UK and Ghana.

His ‘Kronkron’ (Holy) track is making waves across the world and is fast becoming one of the most loved gospel songs in recent times.

At the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK, he won the ‘UK-Based Uncovered Artiste of the Year’ much to the delight of his fans.

He also won Ghana’s Best Artist of the Year diaspora and Male Artist of the Year diaspora at the just-ended Praise Achievement Awards 23.
