2026 FIFA WC QUALIFIERS: South African coach eyes Super Eagles job

Date:

Pitso Mosimane, a  top coach from South Africa, has expressed his desire to coach a national team and take a squad to the FIFA World Cup.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach left UAE Pro League team Al Wahda and is not currently engaged in any job. The 59-year-old is expected to return to South Africa, but he has his sights set on a greater reward.

The former Al Ahly coach showed his respect for the Nigerian Super Eagles in a recent interview.

“Really, if your striker is Victor Osimhen, a young player for Napoli, and Samuel Chukuweze, then that’s all you have.” “That Nigerian team is amazing,” he exclaimed.
