The “Odo” hitmaker Jay Bahd is going to cause a lot of controversy with his claim that marijuana is a “mogya duro,” or blood tonic, and smoking weed shouldn’t be considered a sin or a crime.
According to Jay Bahd, marijuana users can influence their appetite to eat and sleep well, among its many other benefits.
“Why are people making it look like it’s a sin to smoke weed? Don’t you know it’s even used as a blood tonic? If you want to eat and sleep well, weed is very important. Some people get stressed but get back to normal after smoking weed.
“I’m not a doctor, and I understand that some people can go mad for smoking weed, but it all depends on how the person uses it. Some get very calm and measured after smoking, and some go hyper and start misbehaving as well.
The rapper’s stance on cannabis use for recreational purposes adds depth to the continuing discussion concerning the legalization and cultural acceptance of weed in different civilizations.
