Guinness Ghana’s Maiden AccraVaganza To Be Remembered

Over the weekend, the most anticipated event, Guinness AccraVaganza, hosted by Guinness Ghana at the Untamed Empire, Accra, featuring music, arts, food, football, fashion, and Diageo drinks, had over 3000 attendees.

The event aimed to deliver an immersive appreciation of Guinness’s core belief that ‘Black Shines Brightest’ in every exciting facet of Ghanaian consumers’ lives was this much-loved beer. The Guinness Accra Vaganza delivered a great atmosphere to all who gathered at the event.

Here are some unforgettable highlights from the Guinness AccraVaganza:

Sweepstakes Kick-off: AccraVaganza celebrated their sweepstakes rewards with lively vendors and vibrant photo booths, creating a festive atmosphere on the event grounds.

Live Football Viewing: Football enthusiasts enjoyed Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace and Liverpool vs. Tottenham matches on large screens, while specially designed courts offered kick-out games, an 8-ball pool, and basketball.

Collective Mural Experience: Talented artists transformed the event and Guinness brand assets into stunning murals, a sip and paint Guinness challenge captivating the AccraVaganza crowd and inspiring spontaneous photo shoots.

Photo and Food Booths: The lively atmosphere was enhanced by themed photo booths, food and beverage booths, and local restaurants, while Guinness Stout provided complimentary samples.

Major Performances: Entering the night with DJ performances, a live band experience with Mix Master Garzy, and other performances from emerging artists. MC of the Night, Kojo Manuel, took over a great wave with the audience, introducing a symphony of talent from Lali and Lola and a surprise performance from Ayigbe Edem, making way for Lynx Entertainment signee Maya Blu to hit the stage with a vocal and dance performance.

The night was still young, and as clouds gathered rain, Incredible Zigi scaled the stage with his dance crew. An unexpected downpour had people finding shelter under tents, but they were in for the fun.

An outstanding dance routine from Zigi and his dance crew pulled people into the showers, and Camidoh’s amazing performance, but that wasn’t the end, as Kidi seized the stage with a sensational performance that stole the show at the inaugural AccraVaganza, leaving the crowd in awe and raising the bar for subsequent events.

The Guinness AccraVaganza, an extraordinary celebration of art, culture, and music, is set to return in December 2023, offering an unforgettable experience.
