Rufftown Records signee Wendy Shay has revealed that her accident was a spiritual battle that was more like the biblical David and Goliath fight between her and the enemies in the industry.
According to her, she was fully aware of those responsible for the accident, and they also knew themselves.
Speaking in an interview with HitzFM in Accra on Thursday, Wendy Shay revealed that those responsible for the accident wanted to kill her and pinned the blame on her label boss, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet.
“Those who wanted to kill me, they know themselves, and they’re trying to put it on Bullet. It wasn’t Bullet. It wasn’t a normal attack. What I can say is that they know themselves, but I am not going to mention their names. They can never kill me,” she assured.
Wendy Shay noted that Bullet was the one who introduced her to Christ, and if he was an occultist, as widely believed, his occultic comrades would have shielded her from any pending harm.
Explaining the battle with that evil force, which came in the form of a tipper truck, she said the heavily loaded truck [Goliath] rather somersaulted when it hit her small wrangler [David].
To back her claim, Wendy Shay questioned the circumstances of the accident, saying, “People were saying, ‘Oh, it’s the wrangler,’ but how can a big tipper truck loaded with rocks hit me, and the tipper truck somersaulted, and my car was rather intact?” she quizzed.
The “Heaven” hitmaker stated that she kept mentioning the name Jesus when the incident was happening and later realized that she banged her head on the dashboard after her car suddenly stopped.
She said when she came out of her wrangler, she experienced a blackout and thanked God for suffering a mild concussion and also being alive to tell her story.
