Christian Atsu’s demise: I wish it’s still a dream – Sulley Muntari

Sulley Muntari, a former Black Stars midfielder, has not yet accepted the death of his former teammate Christian Atsu.
Sulley Muntari said that it still seems like a dream to him and that he would like to awaken to the knowledge that Christian Atsu is actually still alive.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder’s sorrow was too severe, and Richard Kingston, the coach of the Black Stars goalkeepers, had to soothe him.
Christian Atsu’s body was found in the rubble precisely two weeks after the deadly earthquake that struck the southeast of Turkey and Syria, on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Hundreds of Ghanaians have assembled at the Adjiringanor Astroturf Park to pay their condolences to the family of Christian Atsu, including Sulley Muntari and his fellow former Black Stars players.
Prior to his passing, Christian Atsu played 65 times for the Black Stars after making his debut in a 2012 international exhibition match against Lesotho at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
