The episode begins with Potpot and Vida talking, Potpot is happy after hearing Vida telling him she likes him and potpot tells Vida he’s not in a hurry and can wait.
Caloy goes to the church to meet father Juliano. Father asked him what the matter is, Caloy tells him he just needs someone to talk to, and they sit down.
Marcus meets with Jaime and tells him that everything Melchor Polycapio said about the child is true about the child in the river. Jaime tells Marcus to find a way to have Potpot’s DNA tested. He opens one of the drawers from his desk, and removes the bag which contained Potpot’s towel when he was a kid, he gives it to Marcus telling him to get rid of it.
Caloy tells Father that he knows what he did in the past hurt Tessa and he’s not expecting Tessa to already forgive him and that all he wants is a chance to get to know the child and wants to be the father of the boy. Father tells him he understands how he feels and that’s his son but he cannot force Tessa to agree to that. Caloy asks Father Juliano if this is the punishment for the mistakes he did and if this is the punishment he doesn’t think he can handle at all. He asks Caloy what his stand is and if he’s still going to marry Marga.
Tessa comes from Leon’s room, she meets with her mom who inquires how her grandson is, Tessa tells her that he’s sleeping and will try to correct all the things he did in the past. She tells her mom that she talked with Caloy and that he wants to be a father to Leon. Her mom tells her she understands how she feels but can’t change the fact that Caloy is the boy’s father, she tells her to try and forgive him.
Marga dials Caloys number and it can’t be reached, she enters Caloys office and inquires where Caloy is, she is later told that Caloy left last night. Right there Caloy appears and sees Marga in his office, she tells Caloy they have something to talk about. Marga tells him she’s sorry and that she only did what she did because she’s afraid to lose him and that’s the truth.
Potpot goes to Rafa’s office as he was called, Rafa tells Potpot that the report about the Teri-Vida image is not good, Potpot asks what he can do but Rafa stops him and tells him he’s pulling him out as their image model and they need to replace him.
Vida is waiting for Potpot, she asks Alex why their meeting is taking long, and Alex tells her Rafa’s not happy with Potpots performance as an image model because they are not getting any sales. Vida is shocked to hear this.
Rafa meets Vida and she tells him she knows what their meeting was all about, Rafa tells her he read the report and the market isn’t responding to Potpot’s sales, Vida gets angry at Rafa for firing Potpot and walks away. Potpot passes Rafa to where Vida was heading calling her. She tells Potpot that it’s so irritating and knows how much he needed the job to support his family. Potpot tells her not to worry about it there are a lot of jobs he can take and Potpot still believes her mother will give him work. Vida asks him if he’s sure her mom will give him work. Potpot tells her to believe in her mother and that she should trust her.
Asha prepares Marga breakfast and brings it to her bed, he tells her to wake up, she wakes her body from the sleeping position and tells Asha she doesn’t feel like eating, she doesn’t feel well, her head hurts she is feeling dizzy. Asha goes to call a doctor to check on her. The doctor runs test on her and tells her symptoms are normal because that’s ok with pregnant women. Marga tells Asha she’s pregnant and tries to call Caloy who doesn’t pick up her calls.
Tessa and Caloy bump into each other, she tells Caloy Leon has a right to know about his father, and that he’s the father and she’s going to allow him to meet Leon. Caloy was happy to hear this and thanks Tessa.
Caloy goes to Tessa’s home to see Leon, the security guards tell him no one enters when Jaime’s not around, Tessa’s mom sees him and lets the guard allow him since she knows him. she takes Caloy to Leon’s room.
Potpot waits for Vida to come out after work, Rafa sees him and asks what he’s doing there, he tells him Vida told him he’ll be coming early from work and he’s waiting for her. Rafa tells him he can always wait inside but Potpot tells him he’s fine and no longer works there. Vida comes and asks what the two of them are doing there, Potpot tells her he was waiting for her, and she tells Potpot she has to run to the store and she’s is busy.
Jaime calls to confirm whether everything’s ready While Melchor was at work he noticed someone watching him.
Later, Jaime was heading home, he saw Caloy coming out of his house, he got out of the car and the two of them watched each other. Caloy walks to his car and leaves. Tessa tells Jaime Caloy heard about what happened to Leon and was concerned and that’s why he stopped by.
Melchor is at the market place buying a pair of shoes to give to his daughter Melai, he tells himself Melai will love them. (He’s still being followed).
Potpot calls his dad to check where he is since it’s getting late, he tells potpot he stopped by to buy a gift for Melai. Melchor notices someone following him, he starts running away, he runs to a dead end and is caught up, Melchor asks him to have mercy on him since a gun was pointed at him, he said he has a family.
The shooter told him he’s sorry and he’s only following orders and shoots Melchor twice in the chest and runs away. A few neighbors from the area heard gunshots and called for help, Melchor is unconscious while calling on Melai and Potpots names.
