We begin tonight’s episode with Conner visiting Martha in the kitchen, he said he knows he has made a lot of mistakes but it doesn’t mean he can’t weigh in on other matters wondering why they always bring up his past, he said maybe since he was once a criminal he finds it hard to trust others but all he does now is for the safety of the Cardinals.
Lucas tells Carolyn he doesn’t agree with their dad’s decision but if Matteo is sick then he understands why he’s like that and he thought things will be better now but they only end up fighting, he said he hasn’t forgiven Matteo and wants him to pay for all his crimes, he also wants him dead but remember his mother’s voice telling him to never get tired of helping people even if they his enemies.
He also tells her he was criminal and in a dark place, thanking her for not given up on him.
Lorenzo have a talk with Isagani, he said he doesn’t regret taking over Silverio because Matteo would’ve hurt them more because he had the means, also he doesn’t regret bullying him and that’s for everything he did to them, Isagani said he hurt their parent’s feelings and the four of them need to talk and sought their issues out because they’ve a new enemy so must stay united.
Later, Isagani tells Isay Lorenzo went too and was so disrespectful towards their parents, Isay tells him he and Lorenzo need to understand each other and he needs to be patient with his younger brothers.
The nurse paid by Catalina injects a sleeping Matteo some more with drugs whiles recording it on his cellphone, Matteo wakes up struggling because he was tied to the bed but gets weakened by the medicine.
Later, Catalina gets the video telling Nina it’s good but she should make sure they double the dosage of Matteo’s medication, she wants him crazier than ever before Roman gets a chance to transfer him to another mental facility.
The boys have a meeting at Lucas’s place, Isagani tells them he respects their opinions and won’t force them to accept what their dad has decided but hopes they respect he and Lucas’s opinion and Lucas said they brothers so should always stick together since Menandro and the Madam are their real enemies and Isagani said they can’t fall apart now or lose the real fight, Conner apologizes for all he said, so does Lorenzo.
Dulce is still haunted by what she almost did earlier whiles having flashbacks, she asks herself if she’s really capable of killing someone.
Matteo lies on the bed unconscious, the hired nurse comes there and Matteo offers to double Menandro’s offer if he’s the one who asked him to put him in that position, the nurse laughs saying his money is nothing compared to what he will lose if he allows him to escape asking him to relax and injecting him some more as he sends Catalina a message saying she
already gave Matteo the medication.
Catalina meets up with Dulce, she tells her she almost killed Isagani and how she a doctor ended up like that whiles crying.
Isay and Isagani talk about how they almost eloped, how Isay almost died and Isagani said if she had died he won’t love any other woman and he loves her because she’s simple.
Dulce tells Catalina she wanted to kill Isay because she thought that’s the only way to get Isagani back but even if she gets rid of Isay, Isagani will never be hers again he will never love her again and in the end his heart will still be Isay’s. She asked where she went wrong after been a licensed doctor who traveled the world but Isay has accomplished nothing, asking why she is getting all the love instead of her.
Catalina said there’s nothing wrong with her maybe Isagani has not seen the good in her yet, Dulce said she has no good left in her anymore and no one left in her life, she has no family, friends and no one loves her anymore. Her only friend has become her enemy too and the man she loves doesn’t love her back that only her mother Madeline truly loved her alarming Catalina.
Isagani and Isay continue to have a good time together as she talks about her mom and she thanks Isagani got his support.
Back to Dulce, she continues to complain to Catalina about no one loving and caring about her and that she has no one, Catalina finally tells her she’s her real mother and will make up for all her absence as Dulce never believed it all first looking shocked, Catalina tells her story to her and how Menandro sold her to Eduardo and how she fell in love with someone else who was killed by Eduardo too.
She said she now has someone who loves her and won’t let anyone hurt her as they hug,
Isay tells Gani she can’t wait for them to get married because she’s worried there are threatening situations ahead, Isagani said no matter how many obstacles they face no one will change his love for her.
Lupita thinks about Conner her love, having flashbacks of their times together, Fausto comes there telling her to accept the fact that they stuck on the island until their boss Madam says otherwise.
Lupita tells him she’s not use to a chain been wrapped around her neck and the world is too big for her to be stuck on that island and she choose that life because she thought she will be free and not like a prison but she will endure it like all the things she has endured in life.
Menandro have some good times with some girls, unknown to him they Catalina’s girls as they render him unconscious bringing him to Catalina. He gets shocked seeing her but laughs, she tells him it’s time for him to pay for what he did to her all those years ago and very soon he will beg her to kill him instead.
Menandro laughs asking if she thinks he will beg for his mercy because she now has Eduardo’s business then she’s insane because he’s still the same old Menandro and he’s the type who doesn’t bow down to anyone even if he’s about to die, Catalina said killing him isn’t enough punishment for all he did to her but will rather let him suffer a slow and painful death because that’s what the deserves. She starts whipping Menandro as he shouts in pain, Catalina ask her girls to take him away, lock him up and watch him closely since she isn’t done with him yet.
At the Mental facility, Roman thanks Gani for accompanying him to the facility, the nurse informs them Matteo doesn’t want to talk to them and Roman said he will check on him without letting him see him.
Dianne’s friend at the facility spots Gani, he ask her if anyone else visits Matteo, she said Dulce, Menandro and Mrs. Rodriguez who Isagani confirms as Catalina, he also gets to know she has been asking a lot about Matteo’s condition too surprising Gani, he then gets to know she’s a benefactor of the hospital and has donated a huge money when Matteo got admitted and most of their staff where even replace with those from Catalina’s agency, Gani thanks her for the information still looking shocked.
Lucas meets up with his mole who tells him Menandro is missing and he thought they behind it but Lucas tells him they aren’t, Lucas also ask about who’s running the gambling den, he said no one because they don’t know the way forward now so they closing down for now that it’s risky as Lucas thanks him.
Menandro is locked up and heavily guarded as some henchmen come for him.
Lupita tells Fausto it’s a small island but it’s very difficult to escape as the whole place is heavily guarded, Fausto ask her to be patient, Lupita tells him she’s a thief but not stoop so low to sell women into prostitution and Fausto tells her they won’t die on the island but will escape only when the time is right as she agrees, they see as Menandro is been taken aware and wonder what he did to Madam too.
Lupita and Nina get into a fight but Fausto manages to cool Nina off.
Catalina teases Menandro asking if he slept well but Menandro continues to act tough, she tells him she won’t push him to his limit because of Dulce and for keeping her alive even though Eduardo told him to kill her, Madeline raised her well and that’s a big thing so she won’t get rid of Menandro yet and she’s willing to let him go.
Menandro said she better kill him now or if she doesn’t he will come after her and Catalina laughs saying they can’t kill each other yet so they should get rid of the Cardinals first asking if he has forgotten the pain they caused them that Roman and Soledad are the reasons their father died that day and their lives were completely ruined after they killed him so she believes they can take them out if they work together surprising Menandro.
The nurse hired by Catalina forces Matteo to eat as Roman watches how he’s been treated, he asks if his son needs to be tied up like that and she said he always wants to escape when he gets the chance so she’s afraid he’s getting worst.
Roman not being able to watch anymore how Matteo is being treated pushing the nurse off but Matteo ask repeatedly why he’s there and if he didn’t tell them he doesn’t want to see Roman’s face as Dulce arrives too. He gets very agitated and he’s injected again to calm him down.
Dulce tells Roman that’s why he doesn’t want him to visit Matteo anymore because he becomes violent anytime he sees him and Roman said it’s better if he takes care of his son but Dulce said No since Matteo is her brother and he knows him well and can take care of him better, she refuses saying he caused her family so much trouble so he should leave.
Gani comes there telling Dulce his dad has no ill intentions and that Catalina has a huge influence at that hospital asking if she knows her plans for them and we ended as Dulce said she knows her very well and trust her surprising Gani.
