2Baba suffers mental breakdown

Date:

Rose Idibia, the mother of Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, has called on the Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to put an end to her romantic relationship with 2Baba who is also known as 2Face.

She claimed that her son’s sudden engagement proposal was as a result of the psychological trauma associated with 2Baba’s divorce.

In a viral video posted on Thursday evening, following the engagement of her son to Natasha, Rose revealed that 2Baba was currently not in the right frame of mind to make candid decisions.

“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. This is not him. Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and neck, remove them and free him,” she said.

Rose cautioned Natasha to slow down in order for her son to fully recover from his broken heart, stemming from his divorce.

It could be recalled that, prior to the viral video of Rose, 2Baba got engaged to Natasha at the Edo State Assembly after they were spotted in a club together.

Earlier in January 2025, 2Baba announced his separation from Annie Idibia, his wife for over a decade.
