Coventry City red-hot striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has been called up by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.
The pacy forward is being brought in as a replacement for Athletic Club captain Inaki Williams, who suffered an injury over the weekend.
Williams scored in Athletic’s game against Mallorca at the San Mames but ended up hobbling off, as his younger brother, Nico Williams, came on to replace him.
Thomas-Asante is in scintillating form for Frank Lampard’s high-flying Coventry City in the EFL Championship.
Thomas-Asante bagged a deserving brace in a 0-4 away win over Sheffield United on Saturday, October 4.
He will join up with the squad in Morocco for the Black Stars’ penultimate game against the Central African Republic.
