The Independence Square in Accra, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, will host the candlelight vigil of highlife legend, Daddy Lumba, at 6 pm.
Ghanaian musical genius Charles Kwadwo Fosu, alias Daddy Lumba, died in the early hours of Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a brief illness.
The vigil will be held under the auspices of the Creative Arts Agency in honor of the global icon.
From Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 9 am to 4 pm each day, a Book of Condolence will be opened at his private residence located at Kinshasha Crescent in Accra, house number 12 (GA-332-9264).
