MAX NEWS: SHS 1 students to report to school today

Date:

All SHS1 students whose placements have been released are expected to report to their various schools today, December 4, 2023, to start their enrollment procedures.

The 2023 BECE graduates will be reporting with parents, senior siblings, and/or guardians to go through the official registration processes in the schools they have been placed in.

According to the GES, the December 4th reporting date remains unchanged even though parents have called for a change of date, supported by teacher unions and the parliament of Ghana. Students will be breaking for the Christmas festivities on 21st December and return to school on 3rd January, 2024.
When reporting to school, students are to go along with copies of their result slips printed from the WAEC result portal, as well as their school placement slip, school placement form, and other requirements directed by the GES in the National Standardized School prospectus.
