Renowned journalist, MC Portfolio has asserted that King Paluta in 2024 became very prominent in the gospel music scene over musicians noted for the genre.
According to him, the secular artist wielded power over the Christian fraternity more than gospel musicians, prompting an immediate action by the Christian Counsel.
The Entertainment Journalist who is currently promoting King Paluta to win the Artiste of the year in the forthcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) made the assertion during a phone conversation with Max TV’s e-Quick on Monday.
”It got to a point, King Paluta was becoming bigger than most gospel industry stakeholders. This made many churches even write a communique and letters to warn pastors not to allow their singers to sing King Paluta’s song ‘Aseda’ in church,” he stated.
MC Portfolio noted that King Paluta deserved his flower for even dominating the gospel fraternity.
A feat, he observed, no secular musician has been able to chalk in the current industry.
