The government of Ghana under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President, has extended its condolences to the family of the late H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings died on the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Ridge Hospital following a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings, the first president under the Fourth Republic, with whom she had four children, including Hon. Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings (MP for Korle Klottey).

The immediate family of the late First Lady visited President John Mahama to officially inform him of her demise.
