The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has ordered a three-day national mourning period.

This is to honour the late H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, a former first lady who died on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was the wife of the first president under the Fourth Republic, the late Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings.

Following their official announcement of her passing, her family has asked for privacy as they continue to mourn her.
