The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will host a thanksgiving service for the Black Stars of Ghana after a successful 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
The president of the GFA will be accompanied by the Executive Council and all staff to give reverence to the Most High.
On Friday, October 24, 2025, the delegation will head for the Imam Malik Hamburg Mosque in Maamobi, Accra, for the Islamic thanksgiving service at 14:00 GMT.
The Christian thanksgiving, scheduled for Sunday, October 26, at the Christ the King Anglican Church, Sakumono, will commence at 15:00 GMT, following the Islamic service.
Attendees are encouraged to wear white attire, which symbolises victory.
